Ability to change units as your navigating

On a future update having the ability to change the units while navigating would be good. I was recently on a trip where I had set the units to KM’s but the app shit down en route and I had to restart it all while riding along on a German motorway. When it came back up it had set itself back to “Miles”. Having the ability to maybe press on where the units are shown and to be able to change the units on the fly would be helpful.

To be honest I do not understand why I would want to change to a unit I am less familiar with.

I’m from the UK where we use Miles as units.
When travelling over into mainland Europe I change over the units to KM’s. I was on a German motorway and MRA suddenly quit so I had to restart it up as I was going along as no where to pull over. The units had reverted back to UK miles. No idea why. This was no good to me when I was going through speed limits which had been reduced due to a roadworks. I had no way to tell how fast I was going either over or under the limit. This is the reason for this suggestion. If there was an option to be able to change units quickly without having to go through the menus I’d of been ok.

That is built in the app; you can change the setting from miles to km and the opposite. I used it on my trip to UK.

@Jörgen yes in the app it can be changed BUT you have no option to change it quickly while you’re actually riding. If you read my initial post again you’ll see I had it set to what I wanted. The app crashed/reset and reverted back to miles instead of KM’s. I had nowhere to pull over to then have to mess around with the menus. My thoughts are an option where you touch the units showing on the screen and it would let you change quickly from there. I also post on another thread about have a “automatic” option which means it would default to the units applicable to the country your in
