Please can there be an option that when choosing download, that the myrouteapp uses the android convention to put the file in the default Download folder in the android OS.

At present the downloads go to a custom folder in myrouteapp's own file path, making it awkward to locate for use for e.g. whatsapp / email to a friend, or to use in other apps.

mooi breed = search? Google says it's unclear.

Those methods are too many clicks and not 100% reliable, and make me twitch.
Also I have other use cases not stated.

My suggestion is to have an option to use the OS proscribed download destination. One reason is because I like apps that use the generic processes, I dislike proprietary specialisations.

Downloads go in the expected download folder. Then I never have to think about it if I'm trying to transfer it to a TomTom device on the roadside using a SDcard. Or whatever.

@BFG just tested it. On my Samsung phone the downloaded gpx was put in the folder downloads. That's what you want right?

He will probably click the “Download” button first, after which the file will be saved directly to the MRA app's download folder.

He must first click “Export” and then tap “Share”; he can then select the Android download folder or Google Drive.
