@hubert-thoring Unfortunately that didn't help, cooling the phone by sprinkling water on cooled it pretty fast! You could see the water evaporating.
@travellexxie Maybe the 8 cil Chinese boxer will have that, I'll keep an eye on it! -
Apparently the crash problem depends on whether you're online or offline... let's hope they fix it soon...

Maybe, but I don't think it is that simple. I never had crashes while navigating online. So I think there should be at least another factor. I did have some problems with the app while online navigating, when the iPhone was very hot. It reacted very slowly, did not load the map smoothly. After cooling the iPhone it worked fine. Maybe online navigating puts a heavier load on the phone, when very hot it might cause more problems like the above, or even causes it to crash.
