Route directions advising to turn off/back on planned route

I travelled back from a tour in Wales last weekend and experienced some odd route instructions during my ride whilst using the latest update and CarPlay to a Chigee screen, these included showing and advising me to turn into cut-de-sacs and then back out again. This happened at least 5 or 6 times, When I got home I checked both the app on my iphone and MRA planning app on the net where I had devised the route, neither showed these diversions from the main route. All of the route errors were made on small back roads so I am guessing it must be a 'Here' issue rather than the app? The only other issue I had on that trip was very unusual, upon arriving at a roundabout it advised me to take the 5th exit, but the round about only had 3 exits, I then realised that it was asking me to go around the roundabout once and then take the 2nd exit (so total of 5) which was actually the route! Once again I have assumed it to be a 'Here" issue rather than the app.

Was there a waypoint on the roundabout?

No I always place waypoints generally after a turn or direction change

Are from the UK? Or was you just visiting the UK
Why?
A few years i was on holiday in Scotland from mainland Europe. In that same period there was some strange behaviour. In the UK (and probably other left riding country) MRA had problems with roundabouts. It took the roundabout if i was on mainland Europe. It look like the same thing or something similiar happened to you.

No I am from the UK, I remember the old issue you are talking about, as I mentioned in my first post I have a feeling it could be specifically 'Here' related - all other roundabouts, turns etc were correct so the problem may only be on that particular roundabout.
