How to find hotels in the desktop app?

Is there a way to find hotels on a planned route with the desktop app?

You can open the POI and then select hotels, after that you must zoom in to see the poi's

Tap on a waypoint and select the button with the bed....Booking.com will be opened where you can search for a hotel

Perfect, I got it. Thanks for the great screenshot. I'm good to go. Have any of you ever used the booking.com? If so, do you find that is cheaper than calling the hotel direct and getting reservations?

I used Booking for many years on my trips, I even reached the "genius 3" stage (extra discounts, better rooms, etc.) and I am satisfied with this group. Although, nowadays I also search in Trivago, which will show you Booking addresses and from more other booiking-services.
Buth my first move is always opening the Booking site

like @travellexxie , I mostly use booking.com as well. And no, it's mostly cheaper, if you call the hotel directly or use their website. But the big advantages for me are:

• it's easy to find a accomodation by booking.com, which fits my needs exactly
• it's more easy for me, If I don't speak the language of the hotels destination
• usually I select such hotels, which offers a cost free storno. So, I'm flexible in case, I can't reach my destination in expected time
• discount, If I frequently use booking.com
