Following a track
-
I was out the other day following a generate round trip. Shortly into the ride I missed a turn. I decided to continue and re-join the track a little further along. MRA Next spent the next 3 hours trying to get me back to where I had left the track even though I had been back on the track for over a hour. Then it started another recalculation which sat on my screen for over 30 minutes. MRA continued to provide voice prompts and visual routing. When the recalc finally finished the app restarted trying to send me back ... all very frustrating. I stopped for a break and paused navigation. After the break I restarted navigation and it appeared that the app was no longer trying to route me back to the first missed turn.
I think the app needs to do a much better job of getting a rider back to the track. It certainly failed as far as I'm concerned.

For the next update we plan to improve some track navigation errors.
Now the only way to rejoin at a specific point is long pressing at that point on the line -
Thank you for the reply and hint about long pressing a point on the line. It hard to keep up with all the changes, enhancements etc.

@RetiredWingMan, That option was there from the beginning of track navigation in MRA...
Under some circumstances you need to point Navigation in the right direction after missing a route point, or leaving the track. I understand your case, but I would not have waited for three hours with false instructions in my ear and on screen before correcting it. It is easily done. Having said that:@Corjan-Meijerink said:

@Con-Hennekens I realise waiting 3 hrs to fix itself was a little off. I just wanted to see if it ever got fixed. MRA is so comprehensive that it's really hard to remember all of the little things, especially the ones that are seldom used. This was my first attempt at a circle tour.
