INNOVV 2 CarPlay system for BMW

Hi, does anybody use Innovv 2 or similar device to run My Route App Navigator rather than phone screen. Innovv say your app runs on their system but would sooner hear that from you guys before splashing the cash

OK, so you want to keep your $1,000 smartphone in a warm pocket and protect it from the elements.
Then you want to connect it, via an often unreliable connection, to a device that displays the smartphone’s screen with various limitations.
You’re swapping the smartphone’s simple user interface for one that’s unfortunately quite different—and limited—due to AA and CP.
Your smartphone in your pocket gets really warm, and the battery is flat after a few hours. So you pop an extra battery in your pocket alongside the heater.

You buy an inexpensive smartphone and fit it in.
All MRA functions are available straight out of the box.
If you use a small tablet, the screen is big enough even for older men with presbyopia.
You don’t have to bother with wireless and Bluetooth pairings; you just get going.
You don’t even need a SIM card, because your $1,000 smartphone has a hotspot and reliably connects your small, cheap smartphone to the internet.
Power consumption is much lower, even on the small smartphone, because it does what it’s optimised for: it displays images on the screen.

@mark-95 It works perfectly, just like any other CarPlay. I've tried the N2, and although it's a little lacking in brightness, it works very well. I'm leaving my proof here in case you want to see it.
CarPlay/Android Auto are no longer the future. They are the present. There's no going back.

The disadvantage of running MRA from the phone is that, on a BMW bike, you can't use the Wonder Wheel. I have now ordered a device for Apple CarPlay which should make this possible, in my case the RiderNav R7M. Price is 250 euro, so doable, let's see if this will work (it should however).

@Ed-Lauwerens-0 I’ve had the RiderNav RM7 on my BMW R1300 GS for 14 days now and I’m very happy with it.
My ‘Naviphone’ – an iPhone 14 Plus – connects reliably and quickly.
The readability on the large screen is much better than on the phone itself, which I had previously used with the BMW cradle.
And no more fiddling around trying to secure the sat-nav phone properly in the cradle.The voice prompts come directly from the Naviphone into my headset.
Conclusion: Very satisfied so far.
