Skipped route point reappears
-
The last trip at the weekend included a section of motorway (approx. 100 km). I always set a route point (drop shape) at the start and a point shortly before the end of the motorway. This allows me to quickly see how many kilometres of motorway there are.
I noticed a phenomenon: I drive onto the motorway and pass the route point ‘Start of motorway’. MRA Nav then correctly shows me the next route point ‘End of motorway’. After a short drive on the motorway, MRA Nav wants to guide me off the motorway again. I then see that the route point ‘Start of motorway’ is my next route point again...
I then manually skipped the route point ‘Start of motorway’.
For your information: my passenger had the same route and did not have this problem. We both use MRA Nav on Android. I drive offline, he drives online.
Does anyone have any ideas? -

Does anyone have any ideas?@Mopetenpit, does that "start of motorway" happen to be the first waypoint of your route?
-
@Con-Hennekens No, that was already the second waypoint...

@Mopetenpit I think the clue into what is going wrong is that you were directed off of the motorway
if you have created the route correctly & allowed/enabled the motorway to be used then when you enter the motorway of course it will tell you the next point is "End of Motorway"
But the first instruction on the left of the MRA navigation screen should also be at the same distance as the"End of Motorway" point. In your example the first instruction is obviously a lot closer.Finding the reason why your first instruction is closer will probably show what the problem is
Without seeing the route it is difficult to work out why, maybe try sharing the route -
@Brian-McG
Here is the route.

@Mopetenpit I've looked at your route
I can't find anything wrong with it.
If you really hit point 2, my guess is you did because the next point was then route point 3, there should not be any reason why you were guided of the motorway. Did you activate avoiding motorways in your settings -
Yes, the route looks good. Motorways are also permitted. As I mentioned earlier, my friend has the identical route without this phenomenon... I suspect it has something to do with offline/online. I may be able to check this in the next few days (when the weather improves...).
Thank you! -

Thank you!Hi @Mopetenpit thanks for sharing the route, like @Marinus-van-Deudekom I can see nothing wrong with it
I tried simulating driving the route, I had to split your route as I can only simulate a small section up to your point 8, & it works fine in offline mode
As soon as I join the motorway at point 2 it says point 3 is 63 miles away & the instruction for my next turn is also 63 miles, so seems to work perfectlyI don't know why you got a different routing, sorry could not help more
If you manage to repeat the error then I think the only way to find the answer will be via a support ticket & submitting a logfile of the problem
