New beta! 4.4.0 (400)

Hi all!
Just in time for the beautiful upcoming weekend / week (at least in The Netherlands)
This update might not have the most spectacular changes but I'm sure you will be happy with it! Why? After months (oh to the hell with it, at least a year) of working together with HERE we identified why some users still experience a massive amount of battery usage. This update is the first in which that is reduced!
The first? Yes! More updates to come for sure regarding issue now that we know where to look. After testing on a lot of different devices we see a relative improvement of ~25%. Note: not all devices had this issue and not all devices will experience the same improvement.
That said, I am confident everyone will have a smoother app experience and less strain on the CPU / GPU leading to better battery life and charging capabilities.
What else is new in this update:
- The route "eat-up" is now seamless meaning that the route line won't have a weird animation anymore where the progress (part you drove) was ahead or far behind your current position
- Fixed an issue where the start page map position would not show your heading correctly (this one https://forum.myrouteapp.com/topic/9454/kompass-nord-ausrichten-fix)
- Internal updates
Curious to learn your experiences regarding the battery usage! Do know that more improvements will be coming

Personally, the battery problem never affected my phone but I’m happy for you and the HERE team that you have discovered what was causing the issue. -

Congratulations!!! The battery issue has been a thorn in the side of many users for a long time. I personally had an issue in the car using the 10w quadlock wireless charger. However on the bike using the quadlock 15w wireless charger was rarely an issue.

Ik heb de afgelopen dagen (na de vorige update) probleemloos meerdere grote ritten gemaakt en daarbij ook (bewust) van de route afgeweken, ritten onderbroken en weer vervolgd en punten overgeslagen.
Hierbij heb ik nu voor het eerst geen enkel probleem ondervonden. Waarvoor dus mijn complimenten.
Ik ben dus benieuwd naar de 4.4.0 update. Maar zoals altijd, het zal nog wel even duren voordat deze op Android beschikbaar komt -

goed news. bij mij op android kwam het wisselend voor dat battery wel op pijl gehouden werd maar niet verder dan dat. het route lijn probleem had ik wel altijd en meestal liep die voor. hopelijk is het vastlopen (het niet reageren van de app) hiermee ook opgelost.

Nog niet zichtbaar in de Appstore maar wel te downloaden via een omweg. Hij is nu
bezigklaar.
Meteen maar weer eens de off-line kaarten updaten!

Hello
Nice update but has it affected the basic use? This morning both my existing and new planned routes report that the algorithm is taking too long to compute routes and the system hangs. It is currently unusable. Anyone else having the same issues? -

I just tried to load some (longer) saved routes and it gives no problem at all with me.

Alweer een fantastische update! Had hem graag afgelopen week getest, want kom echt net terug van een motorweek, waarbij ik dagelijks MRA heb gebruikt
Nagenoeg probleemloos eigenlijk! Zelfs met bekabeld laden ging goed met 35 graden!!
