Navigate routes as tracks question
-
I noticed in the route that I traveled yesterday the the MRA route was different than it was on the online planner, even though before I started navigating the route offline it was exactly the same on both the app and the online planner.
Looking at the actual track that I recorded when I was navigating it offline vs. the route that I had planned, the app changed the route in several locations even though it both had matched when checked before I left.
Will selecting the "Navigate routes as tracks" option solve this issue?
Thanks,
Steve

@Steve-Jarrell yes, navigate route as track should solve your issue. Recommend being online when navigating a track or as a track.

@Steve-Jarrell, it could be traffic info for example, that is changing your route. Or having not enough shaping points.

Thanks all. Unfortunately I have traffic avoidance turned off, and I'm in areas where relying on cell coverage isn't an option. I'll be traveling every day for the next 2.5 weeks so I'll see if I can come up with any better definitive information.
Best regards,
Steve

@Steve-Jarrell, then you will be best doing that as route, offline enabled, and with some extra shaping points.

@Con-Hennekens Thanks. That's what I thought but it's good to get confirmation. I appreciate it.
