Web Planner Overhaul?

Hi all. I'm a long term user of both the planner and nav from MRA. I'm somewhat frustrated by repeated announcements that the web based planner is due a major overhaul... only to see minor tinkering at best over the past year or two.
The web planner is very powerful, but in some ways a real pain to use, with simple operations taking far longer than necessary. A few simple tweaks to the interface could make it much, much easier and more convenient, especially when planning long routes.
Is there a plan to overhaul the usability - searching, adding, moving waypoints, making calculations etc. If so, what are the timescales?

The webplanner will have major reconstruction during this year but since that means a ton of work, be patiënt
