Zoom in CP on version 384 & 385
-
On both versions CP doesn’t follow zoom on IPhone. See attachments.

Camera modus was set on Dynamic. In previous versions it worked fine. What am I doing wrong? -
@Gos-Kuus sorry, what is the issue exactly?
Looks good to me! -
@Corjan-Meijerink Please, have a look at the sizes of the rounabouts. On the Iphone this is already bigger as it is on the CP screen and the CP screen is even a bit bigger. And aproching the roundabout it won't become bigger on the screen. On the CP screen it can have more zoom with + and - buttons, but than it is fixed continiously.

@Gos-Kuus, I think it would be better comparable if you put your iPhone in landscape mode too. In that position set your screen through the menu as you like, and then re-compare the CP screen to your phone.
@Corjan-Meijerink, I don't know if possible at all, but separate screen settings for phone and AA/CP could perhaps be a good idea. Phones will often be used in portrait mode, while most (all?) AA/CP screens are landscape oriented. Maybe the settings should not even be separated in Phone and AA/CP, but in separate Portrait and Landscape mode. Things like desired zoom-factor and tilt are not equal among portrait/landscape. I tend to switch them a lot.

@Con-Hennekens I will give it a try coming weekend.

@Corjan-Meijerink Did some testing yesterday. Please, compare screenshot of Iphone and photo of CP-display. These are made at the same moment/location. CP-display isn't in zoom as the Iphone is. Both in landscape position. Display size of CP-display is bigger as display of Iphone is.
Entering the menu to set zoom on CP is resulting in a fixed zoom setting and if you leave the menu, zoom is automatically set back to previous setting like showed on attached photo.
Zoom setting in the App-settings are the tested on +1 and +2 with the same results.
Another note I found is volume setting of voice instructions via the controls on my steeringwheel of the car aren't seperated anymore from volume of the radio. While voice instructions are spoken and volume is turned up after this instruction volume of the radio is as well. Previously these were seperate audio channels. -
@Gos-Kuus Thanks for replying.
Did CarPlay display a form of automatic zooming? Or was it always on this zoom level?Best for my administration if you create a support ticket.
You can mention me and this forum thread directly. -
@Corjan-Meijerink It was always on this zoom level. I will create a support ticket as well.
