Waypoint skipping

Hi all,
I have automatic skipping of waypoints enabled. Quite a few times this has happened - I pull just slightly off route, perhaps to go into a petrol station. As I pull out of the petrol station a message comes up on screen saying that my next wayppoint has been skipped, even though this might be 10miles further down the road and I have not done anything really that I would expect to result in the waypoint being skipped. Any idea why this happens? My app is the latest beta, but this has happened on previous versions too.

@Stephen-Rowland hard to say. You did deviate so the behavior does not have to be incorrect. For your situation it does seem undesired but yeah, in another situation the skipping might have been necessary.

Route details indicating where what happened might be helpful!

I've seen the same behaviour last June in Scotland.
Waypoints you did not reached yet were already skipped by MRA.

Just a result of my messed up brain.
If i'm correct the Topicstart lives in the UK. There were also problems with roundabouts in the UK. Could this also be a UK specific problem.
Because i've seen on my Scotland but i cannot remember i've seen it ever since on the Europe mainland.

I had it in the mountains with too many hairpin bends, the solution is to turn off the automatic skipping of the waypoints.

If necessary, decide for yourself and press the next sensible WP on the mobile phone is so easy and you decide for yourself.
