Hello from Southern Germany

Hello Community!
My name is Peter.
Currently I´m struggling with a TomTom Rider 500.
For route planning I used BaseCamp, Tyre, kurviger.de and now MyRoute-app gold.
In the german subforum I´ll post my first question.
Greetings

Hello Peter,
Welcome to the forum, I read that you have already found your way to the German part of the forum. Top.

@Nachtmann Hai Peter, I guess that you will be hooked to MRA very soon.
Welcome to the forum as well

Hello Peter from Southern Germany (Stuttgart area) as well.
BTW: I have already answered your question.

Hello @Nachtmann and welcome to the forum. You have one of the easiest sat navs to export routes to. Firstly, you need to have a TomTom MyDrive account set up. Once you have your route planned out in MRA (tip: fully zoom in to each route point to check that they are positioned correctly on the road) select Save as and then choose TomTom MyDrive (beta). Your route will then travel wirelessly to your Rider 500 without the need to plug it in. Good luck and happy planning.

@Nick-Carthew
Thanks a lot for your hints. I just tried it and it works as you stated.
But the mydrive world is too silly to receive routes (just like in .itn files). It only receives tracks.
Some time ago I decited to only work with routes (.itn).
So I have to go the long way: Save as .itn, connect Rider via cable, copy route to Rider, import route.
There is a big difference how TomTom transports and handles routes and track.
I spent a lot of time to figure out this.
Greetings and have a nice day

@Nachtmann If you add a few more route points to your route a .gpx route will behave in the same way as a .itn route.
