Online route not possible

Due to battery consumption and potential lack of signal I want to be able to use an offline route navigation.
I keep getting the message that this route was not created in a HERE map so offline navigation may not work.
I deliberately created a test route with a HERE map having selected this from the drop down under PAGE MENU.
It still says it has been created with OpenStreetMap.
Am I doing something wrong? -

The maps in the red box are used for navigating. If you use the app to navigate you have to select the Here map in the red box. The maps in the blue box are just overlay's wich you can use while planning. Calculations are made in the map selected via the red box.
