@Stefan-Hummelink @Nick-Carthew @Bart-DM thanks!

I'm actually not sure what the forum language is, but I suppose English is a lingua franca that'll serve most of us.

When I revived Navigation-Next on my phone (last Sunday actually, to get to the MRA office in Sweet Lake CityZoetermeer), the first advantage that immediately occurred to me is how I could actually see what was on the screen with the sun in my back! That alone was enough to make me want to investigate further, since looking at the phone screen with the sun in your back using TomTom or Google Maps is an exercise in futility.

After watching a couple vids with Serge and Corjan, I finally managed to make sense of MRA Routeplanner, create commute tracks to and from the office, download routes from the library, and even generate a route myself.

The best news is: the current version of Navigation Next hasn't died on me yet -- which a version of a few years ago used to do on a fairly regular basis, which caused me to put it aside for the time being.

Useless but funny detail: Navigation Next knows how to get to my garage, using a back entrance that TomTom and Google Maps have no idea about.

I will have questions. In fact, I have one right now, which I will ask in the applicable department.
