How to import from Google maps?

@Peter-Schiefer It's not aparticularly complicated map. I'd use the google waypoints and recreate the route in MRA. Keep google maps and MRA open beside eash other.
Probably the fastest way.

@Rob-Veerman Google maps does not create an exportable KML file. Google (my maps) does but these can be imported into myroute (or basecamp for that matter) app as KML in any case no need for convertion at all.

Once the route is set in Google Maps, tap the hamburger menu.
Click Share, the journey link appears.
Tap Copy Link, go to the site MapstoGPX,
paste the URL and click LetsGo.

Does that do the trick?

The route needs to be created in Google MyMaps.
There you can export it into a KML/KMZ file. This files can be imported in MRA

Thanks to Rhönschrat, for the solution.
With the App Scenic you can import the route from only the link.
If it is imported in Scenic, you can export a GPX file. DONE!

@Jörgen is that the full name of the App? I'm seeing 'Scenic Map' and 'Scenic Motorcylce Navigation', amongst others...I believe the correct one to be Scenic Map, just want to confirm.

@Jörgen thanks - at the moment, I was just investigating it and how to do it....a small group of buddies and I are going on a 10 day, 4000mi (ish) bike trip this summer (from Texas to the Grand Canyon and back), and the group leader has planned a lot on google maps and I was hoping to convert them to *.gpx for MRA.
