I am about to make the switch to MRA. Do I need both Gold and Next or is Next enough? Thanks for any advice!

@Sytze-van-der-Laan That entirely depends on how keen you are on creating your own routes. A gold subscription also unlocks the Here and TomTom maps in Routelab. Since the navigation module also utilizes the Here map, that's indeed convenient! Additionally, there are some handy extras included in the gold subscription, such as comparing routes for Garmin (Here) with TomTom, reversing routes, expanding the number of route points, splitting your route into multiple routes, etc.

Also, check out this offer: https://info.myrouteapp.com/update-14-maart-2024/

@Sytze-van-der-Laan, depends on what you want exactly:

If you simply want to draw your own routes with no bells and whistles, Navigation only can be useful. What you get extra with a Gold subscription are e.g. Access to the TomTom maps (make routes equal for TT riders) some map layers, direct access to StreetView, Toolkit functions like change route direction, curvy roads, split and merge routes.

For a complete overview check: https://www.myrouteapp.com/nl/shop and click on the "compare features" link.

I am just an enthusiastic MRA user, and hope you will be one too!

@Sytze-van-der-Laan Goede vraag.

Android Auto of Apple Car play).

(I use MRA Next only on Android Auto. Every comment, suggestion, etc will be based on my usage with Android Auto)
