@Jörgen, you have to understand that the routeplanner is an online service. It will most likely never be made internet independant. Only the Navigation module is capable of offline use. I assume Garmin Thread and TomTom MyDrive are also not available offline.

I am however hoping that direct-routes will become available offline at some point. You would think the HERE mapdata contains address data, or it could be placed in a separate local database.

What I would do if I wanted to drive e.g. directly to my hotel, I would open a route to that hotel and skip to the last waypoint. That can be done offline.

Grund meiner Frage nach Offline:

• Ich frage nach Offline Planung weil wir ab dem 1.8-20.8 nach Norwegen reisen und dabei auch in abgelegenen Gegenden reisen und ausweichen werden.

Offline:

• wenn kein Netz und eine neue Planung zwingend erfolgen muss, was sollen wir dann tun, bin ratlos ?

Lösungsansatz:

• sollen wir doch unsere Garmin Navis mitnehmen..?

Stand heute 27.6.23:

• MyRoutApp zZ wohl nur Online Planung

• BMW Connected App geht scheinbar auch Offline, werde ich noch genauer testen

• der Navigator VI sollte eigentlich zuhause bleiben, jetzt wohl besser nicht..

Was ist Eure Lösung bzw. die Idee wie es gehen soll .??

Ich freue mich wenn es Lösungsvorschläge gibt, möchte eigentlich nur MyRouteApp nutzen.

BMW Connected App geht scheinbar auch Offline, werde ich noch genauer testen. Hier das ging schon einmal Offline vom Sessel aus …

In der Startmaske der MyRouteApp geht das mit direkter Navigation leider offline nicht, lässt sich das nicht doch ändern .. das wäre ein erster Schritt.

Favorites will become offline too sooner.

Offline routeplanning entirely is further down the road The need for this is clear but requires a lot of development.

Frage zur Integration WunderLINQ:

Bedeutet das auch das ich jetzt nach dem nächsten Beta Update die MyRouteApp Navigation die App im BMW Cradel über den BMW Multicontroller (Drehrad) bedienen kann, heist zum Beispiel die Karte bei der Fahrt einfach mal zu Zoomen… ?
