5 Tage Gardasee mit MRA

Nicht nur meine Kurventechnik verbessert, auch MRA intensiv getestet.
Einige Punkte sind schon bekannt, ich liste sie trotzdem nochmals auf.

-Die Karte ist sehr träge, zeigt nicht die aktuelle Position, ganz geil im hektischen Italien wo ein Kreisel 5 oder 6 Ausfahrten hat!

-Ein oder Auszoomeen, die Karte bleibt stehen. Lösung Navigation beenden und weiterführen

-Online / Offline Navigation. Plötzlich keine Karte mehr da kein Internet Empfang. Warum wird die Karte nicht angezeigt? Heruntergeladen habe ich sie und GPS Empfang ist da! Auch hier Navigation beenden und neu starten. MRA sollte automatisch wieder auf Online gehen wenn Signal wieder da ist

-Meldung Wegpunkt 3 wurde übersprungen, ja toll, der kommt erst in 20 Kilometern....

-Route bearbeiten auf dem Mobile. Heute Route angepasst und einen neuen WP gesetzt. In der Hitze jetzt nicht gefunden wie ich den verschieben kann von WP24 auf WP 4. Also bestehenden WP verschoben. Meine Pässe sind nun nicht mehr in der Route! Irgendwie scheisst die Saisonale Sperrung nun rein obwohl alle Pässe geöffnet sind....

-Route sollte in rot angezeigt werden, oder Farbwahl. Bei starker Sonneneuinstrahlung ist diese nur schwer erkennbar, kann auch an meinem Alter liegen

Was ich vermisse! ja, mein Zümo ist Uralt aber:

• Höhenangabe

• Die Meldung "Route wurde verlassen, Neuberechnung Ja oder Nein?"
  Denn, ich möchte MEINE, geplante Route fahren und das Navi soll mir sagen wenn ich diese verlassen habe.

Ich habe mich zuviel verfahren, nein, ein Navi kaufe ich mir keines mehr, seit 3 Jahren bin ich mit MRA unterwegs

ABER, es bleibt noch ganz viel Luft nach oben, und viele Bugs zu beheben. Danke an die Entwickler

I'll continue in English to keep it readable by the big audience.

• yes positioning on the map was a significant problem. It will be largely solved from the next update on.
• Too soon skipping of waypoints is probably linked to your first point, so hopefully improved too.
• to add a waypoint between two others, simply tap the routeline between those waypoints. After that you can drag the new waypoint to the desired position on the map. Do reverse your procedure: first add the point in between, only then move it to the correct position.
• Some cosmetic options will no doubt be added after public release. But for now I think more urgent things are at hand
• Altitude would certainly be nice to have indeed, I am all for that!
• Next shows the intended route, the tracking line (if you activate tracking), and the original route line if you deviate from it. Therefore it calculates a way back to your route (the next WP or a way back to your track if you navigate a track). But since the original route line is in place, you can drive back to the route on-sight if you want and how you are used to on your Garmin. Disabling calculation is therefore not necessary, and you are not obliged to follow the suggested deviation in any way. Typical a request that keeps coming from Garmin users (no offense!) Remember that disabling calculation is not much more than a workaround against messed up track-navigation. I think Next is more sophisticated and does not need such a workaround.
