    I have been trying to use the beta app for navigation, but I do not see any options for this. All the app seems to let me do is create routes, and overlay them as tracks on the map.

    What should I do?

    (Samsung galaxy s20)

        I have the feeling that this may actually not be the Beta app, while the PlayStore says it is... I reinstalled, but same result.

              And followed the instructions received in the confirmation email.

              As stated, a reinstall (including signing in again) did not make a difference. 😞
