I have seen some older topics on this but I would personally find it very helpful to have the ability to organize favorites in a folder fashion so you can create categories for the places you like and frequent. I understand how the POI ability works but even there you can't create a folder and add points to it within the app you have to add them in a file and upload them making it a lot more work to manage and update those points.
Ideally I can create a folder and then select a point and add it to the folder to be recalled in the future should I wish and be able to add or remove items from in the app in those folders/lists.

You cannot classify or place the favorites in folders as you describe. With the use of good naming you could make the whole clear.
The use of POIs will be improved. This can be seen in the Roadmap 1.9.

Any idea on the time line in the system mapping appears the last update 1.3 was completed in March 2022 and 1.4 shows an estimated duration of 3 months but we are year since 1.3 according to the data shown on the road map. I know a lot of work is going on in the navigation area but would be nice to see some of these other items coming along as well.

            I can't estimate that. That's more of a question for MRA ( @Corjan-Meijerink ).
But I think all the workforce is now being deployed on Navigation Next, so I don't expect the roadmap for MRA RoutePlanner to be completed in the short term.

@Jack-van-Tilburg appreciate the response and totally understand that the priorities are with Nav Next which I'm liking so far and look forward to seeing it grow as well.
