iPhone 13 heats up!!

I have noticed that when using the Nav Next (for turn by turn directions)that my phone heats up enough to be almost concerned about damaging my phone and this is in cool winter temps….. can’t imagine what it might be like during the heat of the summer. Now is this just because it’s still in the test flight mode? I did have my music running as well…… but I always have had them run together in the past systems without this amount of heat from my phone. Also my power decreases much faster than with the old Nav App. Has this happened to anyone else? Any feedback is appreciated.
