Navigating a track goes directly to destination
-
I think this can't be what's intended.
When I open a track and start navigating it, it routes me straight to the destination. However the original track is visible. But it is not being navigated.

@Con-Hennekens We also experienced this while running some initial tests. We typically encountered this when not actually on the road yet. When starting the navigation when actually on the track / calculated route, it worked pretty.
Something that definitely needs improving and I am glad someone else also experienced this

I am very curious what happens when you actually start driving this track and you start the Navigation from a point on the route!
Edit: you seem to not be near the start. I would suggest starting track navigation when you actually are at the start point

@Corjan-Meijerink, Thanks, but... It's weekend man!

I'll try that this weekend and report. Could it also be not being ON the actual track? If I remember correctly my Zumo had a similar problem. -

On my way to a squash match and checking the forum to see how people receive the Beta is more fun than work
But indeed! Starting track navigation while not anywhere near or on the track is very difficult. Something we know Navigation devices also have trouble with. So yes, starting while at the start (or at least not on your couch) is a good idea

@Corjan-Meijerink, That did the track, uhm, trick indeed!
Happy squashing! I am a badminton freak myself, but enjoy squash as well. -

Thinking about this new feature more, I am afraid that it will hose development with a whole new set of requests... How about converting a planned route to a routetrack including the viapoints?
(but don't forget about the roadmap
) -
Happy to hear that!
We look forward to all the requests!Badminton is cool too! Did that for some years but squash is my true passion
