I see that the thread was locked.

My suggestion would be to drop the function entirely. Why? Those of us with lots of routes saved, might look at and / or edit routes from the past for all sorts of reasons.

Today, a friend asked me for an old route from a couple of years ago. I had to look at several to find it. I don’t want to be taken back to that route next time.

Similarly, I create a block of holiday routes, different ones for each day, sometimes with two per day. I might on day three, look at and edit the route for day five or seven. I don’t want to be taken to day five or seven, when all I want I’d day four, which I might have created weeks or months ago and not altered since.

A back button to take you back to your private library, would make much more sense, to me at least. If nothing else, it’s nicely neutral, upsetting neither camp.

@Richard-18 you have exactly what you asked for with the 'Routes' button, which takes you to your library.

If you don't want to be taken to the last route then simply don't press the button. It's not a reason to remove it from those of us who will use it.
