Hi, I agree with Macro. When I'm riding my motorcycle, my eyes have to be on the road. However, nobody is talking about exceeding speed limits. Since you mention it, there are also navigation apps that warn you both on the screen and with sound if you've exceeded the speed limit, apart from speed cameras. It's simply a matter of implementing a function that's already available in other navigation apps like Sygic, for example. My only intention is to improve the app, not to say that one navigation app is better than another. Sorry for my English; I use Google.

Het eerste probleem is dat punt 5 niet geregistreerd wordt. Als het te reproduseren is dan zouden de ontwikkelaars daar serieus naar moeten kijken. Ik heb het ook wel eens gehad. Een vermoeden heb ik dat het te maken heeft met de afstanden naar vorige/volgende punt maar meer dan een vermoeden is het niet. Het omgekeerde heb ik trouwens ook gehad: een punt naast de route werd onverwachts wel geregistreerd. Dat voor later. Omdat punt 5 niet werd geregistreerd zal de app een weg terug zoeken naar 5. Die weg gaat denk ik terug de brug over naar de kruising tussen 4 en 12. Waarschijnlijk heeft het daar mee te maken dat 12 gekozen wordt maar een verklaring heb ik ook niet. Het verklaart ook niet de afstand die je op het scherm ziet naar punt 5 (1.3 km), die afstand zou groter moeten zijn.

Yes of course I can put notes in but if it is a quick visit to a city and there is one each day I don’t always want to do all that work. If I select via points then the app should let me see their names. As for whether it’s the best tool: actually Outdooractive is better for routing but they don’t show the waypoints at all - not even a dot on the path - so that’s even more useless for city walks!

@Herman-Veldhuizen, eens. Je krijgt altijd een herhaling van de laatste gesproken aanwijzing als je op het tegeltje links boven drukt. Maar aangezien bij het starten van een route er niks te herhalen valt, werkt dat in dit geval ook niet. "Route <naam van de route> gestart." lijkt me wel wat

Had the same problem yesterday. Never had it before. When I started the navigation I noticed that the app had problems to go online (message that it switched to offline mode appeared). I was on data and had just entered a wifi zone. So I expect that it is related to this. The problem didnt go away until I switched off both data and wifi , stopped the app, restarted wifi and the app.

Thanks @Corjan-Meijerink in fact I remember that it had the function enabled, but I didn't think it could be that, while I disabled it...another question...he had the recalculation disabled, when we went off track and the app asked to do the recalcling, he clicked on the box in the photo but the app was like it crashes and nothing happens...then after 30-40 seconds it came back to answer...I state that there was a data connection...[image: 1774846216713-img_3425.jpeg]

My findings were in a car. On my motorcycle I use a TomTom after creating routes with MRA. Maybe the hickups don't occur because of bad GPS reception but because of 2 GPS sources "speaking" to MRA at the same time.... This is just a guess though! Anyway, with the permission removed everything seems okay, at least on my little test drive. Please note that the freezing of MRA isn't due to no available location. Other apps do get a valid location from the GPS.

Unless you are using your IPAD for navigation. You could also use the webversion of MRA on a tablet. Then you need a license less.

Had hier met de hand de navigatie gestopt. De track gaat hier dan ook automatisch op pauze. Alsnog zijn er wel wat punten vastgelegd, maar het beeld is een stuk rustiger dan bij Rob: [image: 1774431200342-scherm-afbeelding-2026-03-25-om-10.32.13.png]

Ik ben benieuwd maar wacht geduldig af! Op 2 april heb ik weer een leuke rit en ik hoop dat de update er dan al is!
