@M.-Schrijver I disagree...this program is supposed to take us on the route "we" want to go. I ride a bike, so going 100 miles out of the way is not uncommon! I agree there should be something to shut this off. If I want to go from point A to B....and take XYZ as an alternate route, I should be able to. I believe that's what we pay for...No?

I have the same problem. The "waypoints" i set in my routes will come up as "skipped" and I am nowhere even close to them. I will be at "waypoint" 7 and it tells me I skipped 17, 18, 19 and 20!! I'm not even there yet. How did I skip them?

  • Zoom setting?

@abowen if your in dynamic mode then the view you see will be tilted you can adjust the range/zoom level you see using the "zoom correction" level a more negative value will let you see further ahead, a more positive value will let you see less the "tilt correction" also has a small effect on how far ahead you can see, it is not as big a factor as the "zoom correction" a more negative tilt will be more like the the top down birdseye view, a more positive tilt will give a longer more elongated view as if from the top of a building rather than an airplane as @Rainer-Treichel says all of the above only applies when you are actually navigating, if your sitting still looking at the map page, not navigating, then toggling the compass setting just zooms you in

Dat kan ik ook niet uitleggen. Een snelle oplossing? Als je toegang hebt tot de route in het routelaboratorium (web), deel deze dan eens voor Trolling. Je hebt 2 nieuwe routes en kunt deze dan rijden.

This lagging is also visible in the tracklog. Less trackpoints and thus more straight lines.

@Marinus-van-Deudekom, we know of course that there are (quite a few) restrictions by Apple and Google, but @Achim-Kaluza complaint about crashes, not about missing features. @Achim-Kaluza, nevertheless AA/CP are quite complex protocols, many things can go wrong outside of the MRA app. @Rainer-Treichel tip about trying a cable for testing purposes is certainly not a bad one. If you have a tankbag or something, it is quite easy to do. Of crashes do not occur while using a cable, we can rule out the origin of the problem being in the MRA app. Complaining in the forum is not making things better. Did you submit a supportticket already? That could be helpful in solving the issue.

@Jeroen-1s said in Stability problems after 4.4.0 update: In the first few hours, the phone became very hot and slow, maps were no longer updated and navigation seemed to stop working. Since big steps have been set concerning the power drain, phones getting so hot they don't function normally anymore are largely a thing of the past. It would be good at such a time to make a screenshot of the battery usage, to be able to see which app is drawing the current. It could as well be a system app or process generating this, while you blame the MRA app. I know it is easy to think the MRA app is the culprit because that is what you are using at that moment, and it is not impossible of course, but it would be good to see proof about that, and a support ticket so they can perhaps do something about it.

@Donovan-Smith Ecco la traduzione in inglese: Hi, I also use an iPhone and MRA only works as a music source. Try turning the iPhone volume all the way up and lowering the car’s volume. The part I don’t understand is that my iPhone lowers the music volume a lot when I receive an instruction from MRA, and with my intercom it’s perfectly audible. I’ve never tried it in the car.

@HighPeakRider I have seen odd behaviours at the end of a trip & messages that there are problems with the log. Fortunately I have not lost any as I navigate in offline mode all logs have still been in the upload que My feeling is that the log problem is secondary to an issue of the navigation failing at the end of the trip & crashing the app. I think the root problem may be to do with the introduction of the stop navigation switch at the end of journey. The log issue never used to happen.

It can be software (MRA) related. But you are the first to mention this and the last update is already from a while ago. So the chance it is MRA related is small. Most likely your headset itself or the combination phone and headset. Are you using other software like i.e Spotify together with MRA. Maybe even Samsung Soundassistant?

It takes a little bit but there must be so much time, ... good thing is that it was reported fairly promptly. Best regards

Thanks for the replies guys! So I will stop looking for the hidden option to turn this on. I understand the reasoning, but would like to be able to turn this on of off. And when I pass the pause point the route time can be calculated again right. Just the same as I do a stop now and then start riding again in 30 mins, or 45 mins. Anyways... thanks for the confirmation. And on to the feature request part of the forum

@richard-crombie, Google map overlays are indeed restricted to Gold planner memberships. Are you sure you have Gold lifetime, or only Navigation lifetime? browse to: https://www.myrouteapp.com/account Scroll down and check your memberships. The export as GPX works perfectly for me. Using an XML editor (rename the file from .gpx to .xml beforehand), you can view the contents of the file. Everything is available. If the GPX file only has one line of text, then the export from MRA temporarily did not work properly. Here is the link to the test route. https://www.myrouteapp.com/en/social/route/11051821?mode=share And here a Screenshot from the xml editor. [image: 1754298543863-img_7484.jpeg]

@Simon-Cox Hi Simon, did you get this issue resolved as I have now experienced the same issue. I use a Mac and iPhone so it won't load the saved as gpx 1.1 file into Garmin XT therefore u unable to use the route in a Garmin. I have used the same process for years and no problems at all and now suddenly I am getting this issue. I have raised a support ticket as I believe it to be a fault. Many thanks. John
