Het grappige van die file info is dat je er natuurlijk het meest aan hebt als je op de snelweg aan het rijden bent. Voor mij persoonlijk is het wel info maar die gebruik ik nauwelijks. Files en snelwegen zijn onlosmakelijk aan elkaar verbonden en dat accepteert ik. Gelukkig kun je er met de motor makkelijk tussendoor. Mijn doel, zo weinig mogelijk snelwegen. Dan heb je ook weinig last van files. Relax en geniet

@M.-Schrijver think I just found the answer: "Third-party navigation apps like MyRoute-app (MRA) Next on newer Samsung devices running Android 15/16 (One UI 7/8) can no longer access Samsung’s Text-to-Speech engine directly due to system-level API changes made by Samsung". I just realized that the last time I saw the Samsung TTS was on my older Galaxy S22. That's the end of it

Cut off the second part is new to me. Cut off the first part is a well known issue. We have a Sena SRL-3 set (Sena 50-series based). And also use Mesh for intercom. The intercom is open all the time. But never experienced your problem.

@Guzzist Also the behaviour after the tunnel varries. In some cases it takes many minutes (at least 5) before the App recovers. I believe the app gets a correct gps position but it shows it on the wrong place on the app which hardly moves. If I stop and restart the navigation the app works fine again.

Next time i will take some screenshots, then it's maybe better to see or explain. :-). For me it's not neccesary that NO other lines are appearing on screen. If i make a route i only need to see the line from this route. Anyway i just want to mension this, maybe interesting for development. Still happy with MRA !

I think I've cracked it... In the Good Lock Sound Assistant settings, if you scroll way down there is a setting "Maintain media volume while using navigation". Selecting this to 'on' while having MRA set at 10% in the "Individual app volumes" with YouTube set to 100% seems to provide something akin to what I'm trying to achieve. Thanks for putting me onto Good Lock, @lennyo . Certainly seems better than the Precise Volume app which wasn't suitable in any way at all.

@Crispey happy to see - you have detected the difference in the routing engine (list item in "Options") and the map overlays (list item on map). The map overlays don't have any affect to route planning. It's more gore your comfort to read the map. The list items in "Options" makes a difference in routing and gives you the possibility to compare, how your route will looks like if you select: Standard (Open Street map) TomTom HERE (MyRouteApp, Garmin) If you would like to share your route with others (my they uses TomTom) - and you can see, your route changes if you switch from Standard to TomTom - then you can enter more routepoints to force the engine to create same route by both options. If you want to use MyRouteApp Navigation for your ride, you need to plan it with engine HERE, because this the only, the App is navigating a route!

@white.mouse Heb ik zaterdag al gedaan. Ik heb contact gehad met Marinus, die zou er vandaag aandacht voor vragen. Ik hoop dat het opgelost gaat worden, blijft vreemd. Ook nog de app op de iPad gezet, zelfde resultaat. Het andere draadje was deze melding bij een route van a naar b, dat werkt bij mijn wel goed.

I think your best bet is to raise a support ticket using the link in the top right-hand corner of this page - https://www.myrouteapp.com/support The fact that @marinus-van-deudekom does not have a problem with AA in his car in no way helps you fix your issue.

Thanks for confirmation that others have seen this (minor) issue. Unlike paul69, in my case the volume controls would not fully restore the volume until MRA next did an announcement. And although I do have another “speaking” app on my phone, for speed camera alerts, this was not active at the time. I have filled in a support ticket.
