@Guzzist said in making more than 1 track visible in same view: But it was the Unic Selling Point for the whole platform MyRoute-App, to be like a "Swiss Army knife" Haha, yes, that's true I know devs are thinking about more offroad compatibility. I think when that gets developed it makes more sense to have tracks visible in the background. But it is probably a long term wish I am afraid.

@Marinus-van-Deudekom , thanks for confirming. Would be nice though if one could hide the waypoints while recording the animation.

@Corjan-Meijerink thx. Mra is by far the beste app om te navigeren met alle opties. Je zou eens een poll kunnen doen om te kijken hoeveel mensen de dmd geïntegreerd zouden willen hebben. Wellicht stijgt de wens dan op de ladder.

@Erdna, Track navigation performs better with an internet connection. Hopefully that will change in the future, but for now the offline method can only "mimic" a track, hence smaller discrepancies can occur. Shapingpoints on a track don't do the same thing like in a route. They are merely there for reference, and as a target to skip to. Automatic skipping is not functional at all while navigating a track. When deviating from a track, a sensible re-entry point is calculated, but shapingpoints are not prefered within that logic, as far as I know.

@Dave-J-0 Hi Dave Im referring to the track colour, in the MRA its blue, in other apps its higher contrast or you can choose an entirely different colour.[image: 1743862751387-img_8100.jpg] [image: 1743862758050-img_8099.jpg]

@JP-d Try and relax about updating maps and just check for updates every few weeks. The chances of you missing an update that affects your route are very small.

@Con-Hennekens said in Integration of remote controllers: @Guzzist said in Integration of remote controllers: And I wonder what the better way is to integrate new controllers in the future... To be honest, I think the most consumer-friendly way to support controllers is for MRA to add them to their list. Unfortunately it can take a while before a new controller gets adopted into the software though. Many controllers have their own software to program their hardware, which would counter anything you program yourself into some table most people would see as a hassle. Also, there are already apps like Key Mapper for Android that are able to convert controller commands to app commands. Hi Con, I understand your thoughts. And I believe, if you are talking about "programming" it would be seen as hassle by users. But my Idea is a bit different: our developers should create and fill the table with standard values, sent by the controller. So, the user sould only select his model - and it'swell working. Same as currentl. But - this is the point - If a user is willing to simply select another possible action, a button should initiate - he can do it. Because many offroad drivers needs a dedicated "handsome" remote controller for the purpose of event. So, not each and every controller has the buttons on the best position for the fingers. So, it would be highly sufficient, if the user can decide in the table, which button of the controller should do p.e. zoom in at the map in the App.

@Albyus said in problem with waypoints: @Marinus-van-Deudekom hand-shaped Hand shaped waypoints are specifically intended NOT to be auto-skipped (mandatory waypoint). So you will have to skip it manually if you do not intend to visit it.

@Tony-13 In the scenario that you experienced, I would suggest that as the incident was fresh, it’s doubtful that any diversions were in place, so I would have stopped your A - B route, driven around the obstruction and then entered your destination again into the app.

@RetiredWingMan Thanks for your contribution. My experience with that is that it;s only avoiding high-ways but not so much going for the Curly routes I’m used to with TomTom. Also, it’s going to send you the same way back if you’re not adding a via point…

@Corjan-Meijerink said in Automatic switch Distance to next Via Point / Final Destination: This is all listed in the manuals Go to https://www.myrouteapp.com/support > "MyRoute-app" > "Bluetooth controllers". For SilverFox, it's an "A" Hello Corjan, I tried this out and compared it with the information on the support page. I first realised that all letters have to be sent as a code in lower case and not in upper case as described. (for BarButtons N=n, D=d and C=c) I can not check this for Silverfox, but I think it should also be written in lower case here. Assuming Joost (or someone else) changes the code and you could send an ‘a’ for the display switch, would you then add this function for BarButtons in MRA?
