@MarcM, There are a few requirements for complete offline use of the app: you need to have maps downloaded for offline use Downloading maps offline is always a good idea, because that potentially saves a lot of data traffic. the route you start needs to be offline That is, if you have no active internet connection, else it will just use that, even with offline mode enabled. If you set "auto-download of routes" to enabled, you don't have to worry about routes being offline, they just are once navigate them. the app must be in offline mode If you are not in offline mode, you will be asked if you want to. But then if you have no offline maps, you will be asked to go online. I happen to know that work is being done to smooth the experience, but with these rules, it just works.

@Ufootje, Offline maps are to be found under the 3-lines menu on the main screen, then the profile icon upper right, scroll down a bit.

@Ad-V Ja, uploaden in de planner, en dan is deze direct beschikbaar in de app. De app wordt na lancering natuurlijk nog doorontwikkeld, maar er moet eerst een solide basis staan. En dit is bijna klaar.

@Con-Hennekens as it turns out, I just went ahead and edited the route in the HERE map and everything has been running as expect. Also, set it as my default now.

@Corjan-Meijerink Ooo - how about StreetView of the next junction, pre-fetched and cached so there's no delay because of poor connectivity. That would be really sweet, but only if opt-in and automatic (i.e. no tap needed). In version 2.0 eh!

@Con-Hennekens I understand and I do the same, but in another thread on voice prompt issues, there was a discussion about a waypoint announcement (even when not spoken) over-riding the turn announcement if the waypoint was too close to the turn. The writer was not sure how far from (behind) the turn the waypoint would need to be.
