@Steve-Lynch Thanks Steve, I finally got it to work. It was neither easy or fast but I think now that I've got it set up it will be easier. I would have never figured it out on my own. I'm trying to wean myself off laptops and just use my ipad and iPhone and sometimes that's frustrating.
Thanks again,
Art Bone
Today I have installed the latest version of MRA Navigation v1.1.2 for Iphone.
Small improvements but still missing the setting and navigation languages such as Italian. It also does not read MRA route folders. When is an important Navigation update?
Thanks and good job .!
@Hans-van-de-Ven-MRA-Master said in Suggestion: Ability to hide Waypoint Flags:
have already submitted a proposal that when you lock the routes, the blue formation points are also hidden, so that only the colored via points (hands) remain visible.
I would hope that there is an option to include the shaping points as well!
Personally as a user of the Garmin XT I never use Via points other than than mandatory Start and End Points.
95% of the routes I plan are spur of the moment routes created in the morning and ridden that day.
I stop when I’m hungry, thirsty or just need to stretch my legs.

Thanks a lot,
if needed, I can send them the header of the message as well.
I tried to "provoke" the forum to send such message again but couldn't reproduce it.
Hi @Drabslab I’ve just been in touch with the developers and they said to advice you to open a ticket in Support. This ensures that the correct people deal with your concern.
MacBooks with the M* processor can open native-apps for iPad and iPhone. I think that's what you mean? I've a MacBook Ait with M1 processor and I can open those apps on my MacBook. Open the appstore and search for MyRoute-app Mobile and -Navigation. If they show, try to install them and you'll find out!

Example for both problems, coloring and routing:
Detailed view, see the black lines above, on and below the section:

Normal planning view, which I normally use (no, I do not drive the complete route virtually before I drive it on the bike :-))

Regarding routing: if I change the map from TomTom to OpenStreetMap, the deviation works:

@Drabslab True, this mechanisms should only deal with missed waypoints and the way to get to the next one:
while exit ~= true
...
If missedwp == true
count = 0
while dist2missedwp < dist2nextwp && count <=3
instruct back to route;
count ++;
end
skip missed waypoint;
end
missedwp == false
end
Something like that. Very quick. Don't mind the syntax.
@Nick-Carthew said in Waypoint:
@Steve-Lynch We within MRA refer to via points and shaping points colloquially as route points and not waypoints. But I'm being a little pedantic really
Are you sure? Maybe someone should tell MRA about that...

Gebruik het zoommenu zoals hieronder weergegeven.
Bij mij schakelt hij op 150% over naar de mobiele stijl (Hamburger Menu).
Verlaag het percentage totdat u de menu's ziet.
Use the zoom menu as shown below.
For me it switches to the Mobile style (Hamburger Menu) at 150 %.
Reduce the Percentage until you see the menus.

@Nick-Carthew
Hi Nick. Yes, of course. I'm planning a trip to Nord Cape and I like to put POIs around the route like gas stations, càmpings, parquings, etc. In such a long trip I don't know exactly where I'll need refill my tank, sleep, buy food, etc. So, I add the POIs around my way
@Paul-Slater-0
There are hundreds of phone holders that will do the job.
I use the XGrip and Ram Mount Clamp below.
Like you I have a Garmin (XT) but I also like to run a phone as well when on tours as I do have a MRA Navigation subscription.
I find it useful as a back up and also for the waypoint colours.
For my Samsung S10 I have a full front and rear cover for when it rains.
I hope you find a suitable solution and have a fantastic trip in France.

Thank you so much for the detailed explanation of the difference. But I have little confusion in the below post:

Hopefully, someone will help me in this regard.
