You would expect that, when the + shaped cursor appears, that when you click on the routeline, the WP would be placed exactly on the routeline. The software already knows the location of the node that indicates the closest point on the route to the location of the WP. It would be great if in such a case the WP would shift to that node automagically. But I totally don't know if that's possible. I think the zoomfactor plays a role in the accuracy of placing the WP. The more you zoom in before clicking, the better the position of the WP seems to be. And I think that's odd since the + shaped cursor, when you hover the route line, indicates you are ON the route line.

@John-Fennessy-0 Thank you for confirming that you are using MRA Navigation Next. As I said in my first reply to you, you need to be in navigation mode for the skip function to work. Click the navigate button and then long press on a route point. The screenshot below shows that I have long pressed on route point 5. Note that RPs 1 - 4 are no longer part of the route. When I press start I will be directed from my current position by the quickest route to route point 5. [image: 1684938465265-img_1947.png]

Wel weet ik door veel te lezen op het forum dat men er op termijn naar streeft om de online features van de website native in de app in te bouwen. Dus dat er vooruitgang geboekt gaat worden, dat staat voor mij wel vast. De termijn? tsja, wie zal het zeggen?

@MARTIN-SNEDDON If you want Navigation Next you have to pay separately. This new navigation beta is not part of MRA Lifetime Gold. You need to subscribe for the beta lifetime or wait for release in mid Jun 23 and pay the extra then.

@Corné-Voogt Do not use the Place waypoint button. If you double tap the screen it will place a new route point in the correct order. This takes a little practice.
