Favorites are not being synced, routes are. That's the difference, and I don't think this has changed lately. Besides, you are asked whether you want to go offline, which you can allow if needed. So what exactly is the problem?

  Hi, As commented on this other post (https://forum.myrouteapp.com/topic/10292/carplay-waypoint-view) is possible to activate this function on CP/AA? With a lot of devices gaining control of CP/AA from remote controllers or by BMW’s WonderWheel, I think is not a security problem to implement it. Regards,
