  No, the only way, to prevent being sent back is to manually skip the waypoint. If you do not do that, it will skip it automatically after a few recalculations.

On german translation, when opening the device management from settings, the button is called 'Abbrechen' which makes less sense here. 'Zurück' would be a better translation here. That button backs off from deleting devices from the list, so O think "abbrechen" is not very wrong . This window is the same one as the one you are forced into when you really need to delete one from the list. "Zurück" in that case is not an option.
