Navigation systems do not work without a GPS function. It tells the device where you are. When I say download a route to MyRoute-app, there is no conversion. It simply copies the route into the download folder of MyRoute-app. This, along with downloaded maps, allows you to navigate the route from the Download folder. This can be done without any cellular service. And yes, you need the location service. Without it navigation is not possible.

@Jörgen In case the mentioned doesn't work like expected, you could give "Organic Maps" a try. It's based on OSM, like the more and better known OsmAnd+ and those maps, we do have here, but it's free. And free of tracking and fingerprinting.

@Nomko-Nomden Yes exporting as GPX 1.1 Route an track works an I prefer it as you can see your shaping points.

@Jörgen Contacted TomTom. I received the information from that this email was sent to everyone by mistake. I was then able to have my device number checked via the bot and received the good news that I was one of the “unfortunately accidental” ones. This is just for your information.
