It can also be connected by Bluetooth; but I fear more issues with Bluetooth, because I have also connected my Headset to the DMD devices as well as my mobile phone. I was happy to could establish a reliable connection to Headset and mobile phone after long try and error phase. I don't need more risks. But the perfect situation is currently only for the DMD devices and running the DMD2 app! The MyRoute-App is still not supported by DMD Remote controller (and vice versa). Means: the 2-way switch - responsible for zoom in- and out in map, is not working in MyRoute-App. There you need to use the 4-way mini joystick for zooming - which is not secure enough during offroad riding. I'm in hope, this will be fixed by MyRoute-App developers soon. But overall the use of MyRoute-App on DMD devices is possible and works great.

I would be prefer using the new 7“ hardware with MRA and a suitable controller. As fair as I tested it works also fine with Remotek

Dat zal ik niet ontkennen. We doen ontzettend hard ons best maar sommige problemen, zoals dit, zijn zo complex dat het met onze beperkte capaciteit inderdaad wat langer kan duren. Ook langer dan we zelf willen Gelukkig wordt alles steeds beter! We zijn trots op de app die staat.

Please note that the RT3 plus is thicker and heavier due to its larger battery. Since motorcycles usually have power, I don't see any advantage.

@BertM, I was not implying that this is your issue, but rather posting an anecdote about leaving a highway being theoretically faster, and proving this can be an issue navigation software.

@Alex-reds I share the same opinion. I ride quite a lot, and I use MRA for all my recreational trips. If the app ever freezes on a rare occasion, this is (usually, if not always) easily solved by restarting the app. I use it on both iOS and Android.

How would you handle a closed segment causing a change on the planned track please ?

@Jörgen Guter Tipp mit Koomot, geht auch sehr gut mit Garmin BaseCamp wenn man dort OSM Karten hinterlegt hat und benutzt. VG Good tip with Koomot, also works very well with Garmin BaseCamp if you have stored OSM maps there and use it. VG
