Routes no longer resume

I'm on a 2week trip from the UK to grossglockner and back.

Yesterday routes would resume but occasionally crashed.
Overnight myroute-app updated.
Today whenI try to resume I'm presented with a blank map. I then have to restart my route and manually skip all way points until I catch up.

Suggestions?

Clear app cache. If it doesn't work, reinstall the app.
PS: take some screenshots of your app settings.

@Gary-Coates, About the manual skipping all waypoints, that is really not necessary. Just long-press the waypoint from where you want to start. Why it won't resume I don't know. I checked it, for me it just works. Until you tap it away of course.

I cleared the cache, no change.
I have now re-installed the app.

Yesterday's ride was a relaxed Loop so I was able to spend more time on my issue. It seems that if I resume on my phone it works but from android auto it doesn't. So I've also given my aa screen a good clean ready for tomorrow's 5hr ride.
