Inaudible instructions?

Hi,
I have a problem which the MRA Support Team tell me has been discussed on the forum – but I haven’t been able to find a thread?I have found a real problem in using MRA with my usual helmet inter comms system. The volume of the route directions is almost inaudible and that's at full volume setting on both phone and the comms system.
The system is an Interphone U.Com3 - so reputable and has always worked perfectly with my Satnav. I can usually play both music and the navigation systems concurrently through my iPhone and hear both explicitly and clearly. The Support Team tell me this is a problem that the programmers are familiar with and are working on it, but it appears to be a persistent and difficult problem to solve? They know that the combination of phone (Android or iOS) and connected devices sometimes causes issues. But they apparently don’t have any clear idea of the scale of it.
Is this a problem that anyone else has encountered?
(If there was clearer sense of the scale of the issue and/or whether it’s just some professional rider comms systems, then we might be able to have a little more leverage with the developers or a specific manufacturer in finding a solution?)Cheers

@Terry-Holland I personally use a Sena 30K in combination with an iPhone 13. During navigation, I also listen to Spotify or a radio station. I don't experience any audio problems. In the car, the phone is connected to CarPlay. I don't encounter any issues there either.

Hi,
Some days ago I opened a thread about this in IOS.
When music is playing (IOS integrad¡ted App Music) audo from Next is very dificult to hear. when I stop Music, Audio level is higher without modifying any option in configuration.Seems like Next is unable to low audio volume from music and up his own audio level at same time.

Audioducking is no issue for me. When a voice instruction is spoken, music is temperd automatically... strange!

I have an issue with iOS and regular Bluetooth connection (my cars audio doesn't have Apple Car Play!) at my car. I do not get any audio instructions. I wish there were a feature (like in Google Maps) where you can set the audio output to the iPhone speakers by disabling output via Bluetooth like the setting below shows in Google Maps.

@Cookie-On-Tour Adjusting the volume within the app has been discussed in other topics. I'm not sure what the current status of this feature is. Perhaps you can look it up or wait for a dev's reaction...

My issue is not about adjusting the volume, my cars entertainment system is not playing music, voice or any sound coming from my iPhone while it is connected via Bluetooth and I am playing my cars radio. So, I am not getting any directions sound wise from the MyRoute App Navigation! Therefore my request to have an option to route the sound of the app to the iPhone speakers as like Google Maps does (optional).

@Cookie-On-Tour I'm lost... sorry. I think I reacted on the wrong post.

@Rob-Verhoeff Sorry, my iPhone connects automatically to my cars audio system, to be able to use a hands free phone and accept incoming calls. Only when my phone is receiving a call the audio is accepted and routed to the audio system of my car. If I play music on my iPhone there is no music playing in this mode, equally no sound of any app is coming thru, so you do not hear anything. The only way to hear what sound my iPhone is delivering would to switch to the media input of my cars audio system, but then I can't hear regular radio sound of my car.
A switch in MyRoute app nav, to redirect the app sound to the iPhone speakers would help, because I then can listen at my cars audio and the app would ignore the Bluetooth connection of the iPhone and use the built in speakers of the iPhone for the sound output, means I could hear instructions the nav gives. This solution is offered within Google Maps and some other apps too, so I wish MyRoute would support the same. -
@Terry-Holland I have the same problem. I set my ( Sena Compatible) helmet audio to max and can barely hear the MRA audio instructions ( which are set to max in app) yet am blasted out if I play music from phone at the same headset volume. Equally if I navigate via TomTom ( Rider 450) I use much lower volume settings.

Finally, I purchased a Carpuride screen with Apple Car play, my next upcoming trip starts next week, where I will have enough time to check and test how the volume performs there.
