4.0.8-244 will not work with Android Auto

I tried several times to get the app to open in Android Auto (AA). Tried starting first on my phone, then started AA in car kept crashing on few tries. Tried again after a stop, this time starting the car, letting AA boot up, then started the app. Same problem crashes. What else can I try.
I'm using S20 samsung. -

I'm using S20 samsung.@Ed-Van-Auken, Later this month a completely new developed an overhauled AA and CP module will become available as an update. A lot of know problems will be fixed.
