Hi,
I found some items to work on and some topics to make better this App.
First, items to work on it:
- Suggestion list when searching for an address: I was on Sallent de Gallego (Col du Portalet). Our next stop was "Col de Marie-Blanche". trying to search on "search bar" was very difficult. an example that shows suggestions:
Only appears when is almost writed:
This happens on Web site and App. (IOS)
So, I think that suggestions must be revised.
Also, a new function as lane selection has a minor problem:
It is displayed on screen for any highway exit, without discrimination. So if I'm on highway and my next exit is 20 exits ahead, I see Lane selection 19 times that I do not need. On this 19 times, Voice guide and Next turn are "silent", cause they know I must remain in highway. So... I think that Lane Selection must bu shown only when necessary to exit o select a different route, not when you remain on main road.
Also, Lane Selection image appears about 800 o 1000 meters before the exit, so it is a long time that you have something on screen that you don't need. And yes, touching the image on screen disappears... but in Spain, touching the Navigation system while driving in forbidden.And now one new function I really miss: The ability to make A to B to C routes without going first to planner:
We want to go from Sallent de Gallego to Col de Marie Blanque and then to Canfranc-Estacion and Sabiñanigo. This need to enter to planner from device (iphone), make a new route, find waypoints (one a little hard to find), save and then, select from routes list to navigate. If I can Add new waypoints to an A to B route, could be a great function, cause this "on the Way" routes are not necessary to save on planner.
I think that this helps on "On the fly" routes.For the rest... very happy with Next: No problems on more than 1000 km on 3 days. All functionalities works very fine.

Oddly the Navigation search works better.
In the navigation app stop typing at 'Col de Marie' and it's the second result. Not bad.
On the planner web site 'Col de Marie' returns no results at all for me, and you have to add the extra 'Ma' to get anything.
That's faulty, I'd say.

Apologies - I meant the extra 'Bl' not 'Ma'.
It's still odd that the planner and app don't match (and the planner gives the worse result).

The search within the website is something I'd need to look into later on.
In the next update, the lane instructions will be improved. Currently they are indeed displayed too often.
