@Calibos while offline navigation is enabled the entire navigation module is restricted from any internet connection.

Offline maps require internet for any interaction and therefore cannot be viewed while offline mode is enabled

I'm ok with this but then the message in French should be "offline maps cannot be downloaded or updated with the offline option selected"

And the behavior of the route module should then also not allow access to online routes but only to the download folder

@Calibos, Offline maps and Offline navigation are two separate things. The use of offline maps does not implicate there is no internet access for others things then maps (trafic info and address lookup for example). Also The Main screen of the app is not the navigation module. Browsing the online folders happens when the navigation module has not been started yet.

In fact my sugestion only referred to the displayed message "Offline maps cannot be used when the application is configured to be offline".
I don't know if it's a translation problem but in French it's like saying "you can only use offline maps if you're online" it's a bit
of a misinterpretation.
But in the end when we found the solution it's a detail.
