Errors in the route
-
When you open a route navigation states that there are errors in the route would you like to view. That is nice, but there is nothing you can do about it in that screen it would be nice if you can correct it there rather then having to go back to correct the route in a different section of the app (without knowing what the issue is and remembering where is what correcting it one by one etc..)
-
@Nico-18, Since that message only appears when you picked a route-track (as opposed to a route with waypoints) there is nothing to correct. There are no waypoints you can place differently in a track. The message is just for awareness.

Indeed as @Con-Hennekens says, it really is just a note to the user. We are thinking about a setting to turn this off if you don’t like it
-
@Corjan-Meijerink, I am not sure on what occurrences these warnings are based. But if they could be based on incompatibility with the map, that would be a pro. For example, if the track guides you the wrong way through a one-direction street. But I can imagine that to be very difficult.
-
@Con-Hennekens The warnings are in most situations about the following:
- 180 degree turns on roads
- taking a turn that isn't allowed by HERE
- a coordinate not on an existing road
-
@Corjan-Meijerink, So map-calculations are already being used to validate the track? That's great, but does not explain the often many warnings I guess.

@Corjan-Meijerink said in Errors in the route:
We are thinking about a setting to turn this off if you don’t like it
This is implemented in the upcoming update @Nico-18
