@Nick-Carthew I hope it will, indeed : no Facebook for me either. To say more : I even consider announcements like this, i.e. going over Facebook, giving away some things only if you're subscribed to (in this case) Facebook, quite customer-unfriendly... What's the next move ? Shall we immediately share our routes with Zuckerberg ?
It is of course an easy (lazy?) replacement of running an own website but I never understood why companies are so keen to share their client list with facebook or google.
Maybe it’s because social media sites like Facebook are very popular with MRAs client base and it’s an easy way to inform those clients.
Nothing cynical, just a commutation platform.
Indeed they are very popular, not in the least because companies like MRA use them as preferential platform for communicating with ther customer base ... until that cuistomer base becomes large enough for the Facegoogles to develop their own navigtion or other tools and swallow the comanies that started it.
I know, too grim a picture but look how facegoogle is expanding its reach...
Anyway, not worth an argument. I admit having a facebook account (made out of curiosity years ago) but hardly ever use it.
