Save locations/positions
-
Hi,
I’ve been wishing for this feature for a long time.
Perhaps someone has already suggested it.
I’d still like to bring it up again, though. At the moment, I use a shortcut* on my iPhone to save interesting locations and/or positions.
This feature was already available on the TomTom Rider, and the competitor now has it also in their app too.An additional button on the MRA screen, that can be enabled in the menu (if desired).
A ‘Save Location’ button. This marks a location or position for whatever reason (a lovely view, a restaurant, etc.) whilst riding, at the touch of a button, and saves it to the cloud.
Later, or when you get home, you can then add text or a description to it.Just so you know!
*This iPhone shortcut saves your current position, along with GPS data and a text you can dictate, under ‘Notes’. -

OK, that’s brilliant. I hadn’t spotted that before.
There are so many new nice features in the V526 that are just waiting to be discovered.
But a button that you could just tap would be the icing on the cake. -
That,s v.515
On v 526 is easiest to go “save position as POI”

(See “Guardar ubicación como punto de interés”)
