Question about a long trip I've planned---download?

Hello, I have a multi-day route planned and I'm wondering if I should download the maps in case I would lose cell service? If so, how do I do that? Thanks in advance for your help.

@Marinus-van-Deudekom Will the navigation work the same with a downloaded map as with the live one? Do I do anything different to navigate the route? Just go to my routes and choose the day I'm on then navigate?

Not only the maps, just in case also the routes you have planned.

@Mike-wiruth Yes it will. The downloaded maps are also used during l online navigating. Make sure that your routes are synced

Do not only download the maps(parts) of the route, download a somewhat wider corridor. Especially when you are near borders.
