CPMC B6/B7

Hi All,

I've been trying to research using MRA via android auto terminals (Carpuride, Chiggee, etc) on a R1300GS. One of the obvious problems has been that the Wonder Wheel (WW) generally doesn't work with zooming in/out during navigation.

CPMC, however, have told me directly that their system DOES allow the WW zoom function to work. Can anyone with a B6/B7 confirm this, letting me know what functionality the WW does allow?

Did they tell explicit that it will work on GS1300. It seems BMW changed something on the 1300 and because of this it doesn't work (anymore) on different brands. It did see some brands exclude the 1300 on the compatibilty list for certain functions.

Aaah! No, I just asked whether it worked with the bmw wonder wheel. Why would BMW do that. Ok, we know, to encourage you to use their (expensive) cradle and navigation app…

It does not work on the 1200/50 gsa so Bmw didn't change anything. It something aa needs to change in there software.

@iain.gardengmail.com CMPC that's not the truth. Their B6 and B7 models are the same as those of other companies, and none of them work. In fact, no CarPlay system can currently zoom directly in MRA without using the dedicated buttons on the screen.

@b0hd1 Thanks very much - it's what I suspected. Think I'm going to pay up for a Carpe Iter Caretta - very expensive, but a solution that will work as I actually want.
