Map View Options with CarPlay

When using MRA through CarPlay there is no option on the main screen to allow you to change the map view. You need to go into settings and select the option from there - not easy when riding. It would be much better if the user could elect to have the map view button on the main CarPlay screen so they could easily switch between the three options.
Another issue with the different map views is that when you use manual zoom the view switches to top down camera view for manual zooming. If I am zooming in and out this is because I am not sure of the route so I need the view to be something I can orient myself to. This means I want the North Up map zoomed in and out, not the top down camera view which will be oriented depending on the vehicle direction not helpful if you are lost!
Would it be possible to preserve the map view when selecting manual zoom? Or ideally combine this with my other suggestion so that a user can easily select the best view and the zoom it as well.

It isn’t possible to modify everything in AP — it is delivered strictly “as is.”
The only elements MRA can influence are the functiones and number and placement of the icons.
Apple CP does not provide all function which you have on your iPhone.
