De AI-planner gebruikt. Verassend goed.....

I am convinced that planning with the AI module yields good results. Although I haven’t tested it myself, I suspect that the "route weather" feature would offer me greater added value. However, the fact that it is bundled with the AI add-on—combined with the high price—is a deterrent. My current thinking is that I might subscribe to the add-on only during the months when I’m taking long trips. While that is one possible solution, I would much prefer not to have to constantly think about when to start and stop the subscription.

@Reinhard-Punz perfectly fine!
That’s the benefit of a monthly subscription -
I did use AI for some routes to test. I does what it has to do and sometimes i need to polish the routes a litle. I think it's a great help and the price is inline with what it offers, a integrated AI in a route planner is a great combination.
Can i do the same as AI, yes, but a take more time for the same result. I combine MRA with Google to find things along the route but AI ask if you want this and offers option, great -
I’ve got another idea – wouldn’t it be possible to link your own AI subscription? If you already have an AI subscription, you could integrate it. Those who don’t have one could use MRA’s. I don’t know enough about this, but as I understand it, this should be possible, for example, via the Model Context Protocol (MCP).
As I said, it’s just an idea. -
My guess is that the AI used embedded in the planner is specifically targetted with presets for scenic route planning. I don't think you would be able to get comparable results when you let people uses another unprepared AI from whatever AI you can choose from.
