If until now you used to navigate on your phone, be aware that not all functions and features are usable through AA/CP.

Using AA you certainly don't get the next fuel stop info.

@Lenny-O, it is working of course, but not all info available within the app is available on the device, and not all buttons and menu options are available either. You can look at the AA/CP screen as a bit simplified app. This to be able to honor all Apple / Google enforced restrictions. Many people are happy with it, some not

I prefer the mobile phone solution with Remotek One as already described in a trade, which because the zooming +/- at CP / AA with the WW somehow goes over the menu but not directly so easy, and especially the helpful WP skipping with the WW probably does not work with CP / AA, but is very important to me.

Pretty soon after purchasing the Remotek One, I also sold my CarPlay box. Personally, I would go for a good phone holder and a good remote.

I use the BMW-Cradel solution, works very well, horizontally but also vertically on my R1250GS
