App crashed after fuel stop
-
Today I tried MRA V5, and I have to say I’m really disappointed.
I wish the developers had focused on improving functionality rather than just making the app look nicer.I started a 76 km route with 3 planned stops and enabled tracklog recording. After the first stop—40 km in, just to refuel—the app stopped working entirely. It wouldn’t launch on my phone or on Android Auto. I even stopped the car and restarted my phone, but nothing changed.
In the end, I had to clear the app’s cache and data, which basically resets everything. At that point I got frustrated and uninstalled it.
So, I’m back to the old but reliable OsmAnd, supported by MRA Route Planner.
I’ll check back in about two years… maybe things will improve by then. I really hope so!This all the app did after restarting it over and over again ...

And Android Auto:

The only thing I can comment is really that stability reports indicate a massive improvement in Android Auto. Support tickets that were still open are quite often closed now because issues are marked as solved.
Feel free to create a support ticket and include your logs (when this issue happens again). The most likely issue that has caused this is solved in the 5.0.1 release that will be distributed this week.
I would recommend trying the update 5.0.1 once it's there.
