Android Auto Map Colours

I have MRA Next and Gold so have a great choice of maps except when it comes to using Android Auto (AA).

AA has two options on my Aoocci device, either normal or satellite. Normal is OK while following a route line but should a stray from the line or not following a route the map contrast is so poor the it's difficult to see the roads.

Any suggestions how to improve this? Why can't I have more maps, I like the Michelin maps.

Only HERE maps are supported while navigating (and thus AA / CP entirely).

You can select the desired map style (theme / colours) using the app itself. On AA / CP you can only quickly switch between satellite and your selected style.
