Issues with Search in CarPlay

I am having some issues with the Search in the CarPlay. When I start entering the test to search for, the space bar does not work, and all the words are entered as one. When I wait a while (a long while,) the space bar becomes available, but the whole process takes forever. If I am lucky, and enter all the search criteria, I get only one match on the list; on the iPhone in the application I get a whole bunch of hits.
I have a long list of favorites, when I search in the Favorites, it is a pain in the tush to find something down in the list. It would be great to have a separate search in the Favorites.

Question, there was a plan to have the folders in the favorites to separate the entries. Whatever happened to that plan? Is it still possibility that we can get it?

@UltraStar folder for search is something on the long run unfortunately - mainly due to complications with the website.

Regarding the space bar, is that also in other CarPlay apps? I am quite unsure how we can influence the working of the space bar

Thanks, Corjan. I have not tried other applications in CarPlay. I think the space bar works in the MyRouteApp, it just takes a long time after you type the word for the cursor to move, after you press the spacebar.
Also, is it the same algorithm in the CarPlay as in the phone for search? I will have to play with it more, but so far I get one hit in the CarPlay, and many when I do it on the phone. In ex.: if I search for the specific restaurants, I get one on the CarPlay (the closest one,) and many on the phone. I guess, once I am in the car, the app wants me to go quickly and get something to eat.

@UltraStar the search should be identical to searching in the app while navigating. Not identical to searching on the home screen (don’t ask )
