Hello, maybe it is something to make it possible that if you have a ferry ride in Gelderland, and you drive from Vollenhove, that you start the route as the fastest and when you arrive at the starting point you have the option for the shortest route. Why this question because there are a number of ferries that you are guided around, and at the shortest it does cross. I know that you always have to place a via point at the crossing point so that you are always guided to it, but for the entire overview of the route and the distance of the route, the overview is also better.
I also know that you can start the route fastest to the stop point, stop the route, restart on the shortest route and go, but the option of switching between fastest and shortest without closing the route seems to me a nice option with multiple possibilities in all kinds of routes.
